Who runs this alert system?

This is a UO student-organized initiative intended to support and protect our campus community. UO has refused to allow the use of UO alerts for ICE awareness. This student-run system exists in the interim to protect our community.

How will my phone number be used?

Your number will only be used to send alerts related to reported ICE presence on campus.

How do you verify reports?

We will confirm reports through multiple student sources and follow protocol outlined by PIRC. Please text 206-484-0076 if you are interested in joining our spotting team.

Can I unsubscribe?

Yes. Please text 206-484-0076 and you will be manually removed.

How is this funded?

Sending texts to large groups is not free. Each alert could cost up to $200. If you are able, please support our work via Venmo:

¿Cómo verifican los reportes?

Confirmaremos los reportes a través de múltiples fuentes estudiantiles y seguiremos el protocolo establecido por PIRC. Envía un mensaje de texto al 206-484-0076 si deseas unirte a nuestro equipo de observación.
